Teaser poster for "Drive-In Massacre" (2012)

Hello ghouls and gals! Well due to some unforeseen circumstances, it looks like filming of Drive-In Massacre (2012) will be delayed till fall 2012. I wish it wasn't so, but that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. However, in the meantime, why not kick back and enjoy this teaser poster designed by the good folks over at The Image Designs.

A New Year, A New Day

From a financial standpoint, horror did pretty darn good in the year 2011. Insidious & Paranormal Activity 3 will more and likely be the most successful films of the year in ratio to what their budget was vs. how much they made at the box office. So brace yourself horror fans, what this means for you is that you should expect a whole slew of supernatural themed horror films over the coming year, if not coming years.

Merry X-mas!

With Christmas fast approaching, I wish I had something deep or meaningful to say to everyone out there, but sadly I don't. I'm not nearly clever or hip enough for that. So to simply put it, I want to wish everyone out there a Merry Christmas or a Happy Hanukkah or a Feliz Navidad or whatver it may be that you celebrate this holiday season.

Drive-In Massacre & IMDB

Just how important is it to have your film listed on IMDB? It's everything these days! If you're listed on IMDB, other sites will follow and that's extra publicity because the more you are listed on the world wide web, the easier it is for horror fans to find your film and to connect to it. With the latest wave of technology creating an open playing field amongst us indies to try and get our products out to the masses, it's important to be able to utilize as many different avenues as possible and IMDB is an important step in doing so.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to take the time to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving! So what am I thankful for? I'm thankful to be working on a great horror project like Drive-In Massacre! I'm thankful that the film has such a great cast lined up so far! And I'm grateful for the people who have supported my vision so far!

Lisa Musser - The girl with heart

One day I stumbled upon this film on IMDB called House of Purgatory. It sounded like a really intriguing film so I wanted to know a little bit more about the film's cast. As I was looking up each of their profiles, I was instantly mesmerized by Lisa Musser's pic.

Where is the fun?!?

Over the years, the production values of horror films have improved - no doubt about that. BUT! BUT! Where is that sense of wonder and fun?!? The horror films of late have lost that. I used to be in awe of the horror films of the past, because they captured my imagination, they captured my heart. I fell in love with the characters. I fell in love with the story. I just fell in love with these horror films.
