One day I stumbled upon this film on IMDB called House of Purgatory. It sounded like a really intriguing film so I wanted to know a little bit more about the film's cast. As I was looking up each of their profiles, I was instantly mesmerized by Lisa Musser's pic.
She reminded me of grandma and apple pie and a simpler, more wholesome time in America. So a few months went by and a short film she did called Rigamortis: A Zombie Love Story finally hit Youtube. What I knew in the back of my mind was confirmed. Not only was Lisa Musser a terrific new talent, the heart and sentiment that her picture on IMDB projected, came across on screen. She really gave Rigamortis: A Zombie Love Story this wonderful feeling, like it came from the heart.
So when it came time to write Drive-In Massacre, I knew I needed a character that could be the heart of the film. So I started writing the character of Cindy with Lisa Musser in mind. These were the characteristics that her pic evoked in me and these were the characteristics I infused into Cindy - the kind of person who does right by others and who would go out of their way to help someone out. Someone who represents a different time, a different place. Someone who represents Americana. Basically, the girl next door that everyone liked because she had her heart in the right place. And thus was born the character of Cindy to be played by Lisa Musser in Drive-In Massacre.

She's a cutie - I like those rosy cheeked GNDs!
